St Albans District Council (SADC) is writing a new Local Plan which will show what can be built, and where from March 2019 up until 2036. SADC say they need to build 15,000+ houses, 10,000 of which will be on the greenbelt, and many of these will be in Redbourn Ward. (To cope with the extra traffic, a new M1 motorway junction might be built near Redbourn.)
